PHARMHIM IS ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CORONAVIRUS INFECTION

The enterprise responded to the appeal of the Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov about providing assistance to fight the epidemic of the coronavirus
CoVid-19. Immediately after the introduction of quarantine, it began to provide constant charitable assistance in providing disinfectants and antiseptics to the enterprises, organizations and institutions of Shostka, Sumy Oblast, Sumy and Kyiv.

“Since the plant manufactures products that, in the context of spread of the
coronavirus, will acquire special significance, we could not stand aside,” says Mykola Fedko, Director General of PHARMHIM LTD. “Understanding the degree of our responsibility to society, the company decided to transfer antiseptic and disinfectants free of charge. First of all, to Shostka Central District Hospital, which was identified as one of the supporting hospitals in Sumy Oblast for the hospitalization of patients with coronavirus infection”. 

The company also provided disinfectants to other medical facilities in Shostka: City Center of the First Medical and Sanitary Aid, Children’s Hospital, Children’s Tuberculosis Sanatorium, and Dental Clinic.

During strict quarantine, 117 shipments were made. The plant provided solutions of antiseptics to about 60 organizations. The state institutions of Shostka, the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in Sumy Oblast, Military Unit 3022 of the National Guard of Ukraine, 13^th Battalion of the 58^th Independent Motorized Infantry Brigade, customs posts, local television and radio companies and other organizations received disinfectants.

The management of PHARMHIM LTD is confident that, in the context of spread of the epidemic, it is very important to have all the necessary resources for scrubbing hands and surfaces treatment. This can significantly reduce the risks of contagion and spread of infection.
