The new Governor was pleased with “European” “PHARMHIM”
On March 21st a new governor of the Sumy region Vladimir Shulga had a working visit to Shostka.
The first facility, which was visited by the the new head of Sumy region, was the company PHARMHIM, specializing in the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).

The governor walked the same path that the employees do when they go to work every day. He also inspected the household premises, visited the administrative part, the laboratories and production sites.
– The manufacturing base of “PHARMHIM” is equipped with modern installations and systems from leading brands. An effective quality control system in accordance with the requirements of GMP and ISO 9001, which is implemented at the enterprise, guarantees the highest standards of products at all stages of manufacturing, from development to packaging, – says Viktor Lyashenko.
PHARMHIM LTD. produces 11 types of medicines.
The company employs 240 people, the average salary in 2013 amounted to 2547 UAH.
– In 2013, our company produced products in the form of APIs in the amount of 39 million UAH. The state budget received taxes amounting to 1.4 million UAH, and the local budget received – 1.1 million UAH. We have invested 12.7 million UAH (own and loan funds) in the development of production, – says Viktor Lyashenko.
We also informed the governor that in addition to the modernization of production, the company is trying to motivate their employees in every way. For many years “PHARMHIM” supports a program called “Healthy lifestyle.”
– “PHARMHIM” is a European level enterprise. The main aspect of our attention now is the development of such companies that employ from 200-300 up to 1,000 people. We should remove all obstacles for small and medium-sized businesses and entrepreneurs, – said Vladimir Shulga.
Viktor Lyashenko said that the products of PHARMHIM will soon be offered to European colleagues. He also emphasized that the head of regional state administration, as a representative of the new government, should pay attention to the introduction of “simpler taxes, which are easily administered.” The entrepreneur believes that it will leave no chances for corruption and give a push in the development of business.
At the end of the meeting, Vladimir Shulga and Viktor Lyashenko discussed the situation in the country. The director of PHARMHIM informed the governor that the company and he personally are ready to take part in the reconstruction of apartments and providing them to families of servicemen from Crimea, which remained faithful to the military oath and therefore had to be evacuated from the territory of the peninsula.
