Open Day at Pharmhim

A few days before the professional holiday the family members of employees and pensioners visited the enterprise “Pharmhim”. Entire process of synthesis of pharmaceutical ingredients was presented to the visitors

Head of quality control department Zhanna Smolko, who has been working in the chemical industry for 27 years, has demonstrated the analytical laboratory with equipment costing 1 million Euros. She also explained how employees undertake quality control of the products with the help of modern instruments and equipment.

Visitors could see the warehouses and the process of final stage of the synthesis in so-called “clear rooms”. Employees of the company explained to the guests that pharmaceutical purity and sterility of the sites is one of the factors that ensures implementation of key provisions of international quality standards. Critical factors of room cleanliness are high quality wall and ceiling cleaning system, floors, as well as air conditioning system, cold- and heat supply.

The tour interested both students and pensioners, whose life and career has been closely connected with the chemical industry. Antonina Kolyada, who previously worked for many years at the chemical reagents plant in Shostka and Yushkova Raisa, with 30 years experience in chemical production, admired the modern production technology, clean and well-maintained territory of the enterprise and the comfort of domestic premises.

The idea to organize a tour for family members belongs to the General Director Viktor Lyashenko. He believes that people should see the results of work of their family members and be proud of them.
