At the meeting held in Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry representatives of Ukrainian and Iranian business circles discussed the ways of revitalizing reciprocal cooperation following complete lifting of sanctions.
Irani ambassador to Ukraine Mohammad Beheshti Monfared noted that trade and economic cooperation between the countries has been growing dynamically.
Director General of PHARMHIM LTD Viktor Liashenko considers cooperation with Iran to be highly promising for Ukrainian producers of active pharmaceutical ingredients. Among others, he said:
“The population of Iran is over 80 million people, which is twice as much as that of Ukraine. This is the main reason why PHARMHIM as one of the leading API producers in Ukraine is interested in entering this market. In turn, Irani citizens need high-quality medicines.”
President of Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hennadii Chizhikov believes such business meetings contribute to establishing mutually beneficial relations between Ukrainian and Iranian business circles.
